No.98 : Fucoidan (Jul 2012)

This is about my younger brother's son who became 46 years old this year. Two years ago, he noticed something irritating in his eyes and went to see an eye doctor. The doctor had an examination on his eyes and he told him that this was not about your eyes and you should go to a bigger hospital to get a close checkup. Then, he went to Todai Hospital. The doctor also said, "This is not about your eyes and you have a tumor behind your eyeballs in your head. You need to have a surgery immediately." He was very shocked with the result. For a second opinion, he decided to go to Jikei Univ. Hospital, but he only had the same result. The doctor said, "You have to have a surgery right away, but you will not be able to see anything after the surgery." It would be a big trouble if he would not be able to see anything. However, the doctor continued, "If you do not have any surgery, it will threaten your life. "I have received a call from my younger brother saying, "I don't know what to do..."
Suddenly, I remembered that I read the book "Sokai" in which the director of Doi Clinic wrote about the fucoidan. The book said that the people suffered from Cirrhosis and liver cancer got well after they took the fucoidan, and the people with Angina was recovered well enough to be able to run the stairs of a station. Immediately, I went to Elders International Inc. to buy the fucoidan and sent them along with the clipping of the Dr. Doi's article.
One week after he started to take the fucoidan, he was able to sleep very well and have a much better bowel movement. He was very surprised by the outcome. Also the irritation of his eyes stopped. He went to see the doctor and talked about it. The doctor told him, "Now you do not need a surgery and we can wait and see with your condition." In the beginning, he had an examination once per a month and it became once per 3 months, 6 months, nowadays he gets an examination only once a year. He becomes very energetic and works really hard everyday.
