Dear Dr. Suzuki,
I had a regular prostate checkup at the end of June, and since my previous checkup had been in September of the previous year and my PSA was at 4.5, I had a biopsy done. The results were normal, but I was very worried, so I asked you, and you suggested I take M10-8 SS and Saw Palmetto, as well as Agaricus Tea, which you said was good for the glands, and I have been taking all three regularly ever since.
Nine months later I had another checkup, and the results showed that my PSA had jumped from 4.5 to 7 - a rise so rapid that my doctor suspected I might have cancer.
On July 18 of this year I had my fourth biopsy. A week later I went to the doctor¡Çs office to hear the results, with the full expectation that they would be positive for cancer. I couldn¡Çt believe my ears: my results were totally normal. Apparently, this biopsy involved taking samples from 10 different areas of the tissue, but they all came up blank. Not only were there no cancerous cells found, but the ¡Èpre-cancer¡É which had been there before was also gone. It was incredible to hear, but also a great relief.
To be honest, I doubted your advice after having taken M10-8 SS, Saw Palmetto, and Agaricus Tea for nine months, because of the results of the first test. However, after seeing the results of the second test, indicating that I have no cancer, I am forced to admit that, indeed, your supplements are very effective.
In terms of the above, I would like to ask you a few things.
1) I am taking:
2 pills 2 times a day of M10-8 SS daily (4 pills a day)
2 pills 2 times a day of Saw Palmetto daily (4 pills a day)
1 heaping teaspoon of Agaricus Tea daily
Is this dosage okay?
2) You told me that lycopene, which can be found in tomatoes is good for preventing prostate cancer. I have just learned that there is 1mg of lycopene in each pill of Saw Palmetto, which I take every day. Since I'm taking four pills a day, that makes my total daily intake of lycopene 4mg. Is that a good amount? If there is another method, please let me know. If I can get more simply by taking more Saw Palmetto, I¡Çll be killing two birds with one stone.
