No.60 : Mandatory retirement and dark clouds August 2001

I have planned for the second life in anticipation of the mandatory retirement at 60 years old in March 2000.

On the other hand, the health union invited my wife and me to the one-day clinical survey at a first class hotel in appreciation of my long service to the company. Of course, we accepted it happily. I had confidence in my health since I have not smoked usually, and drank only once in a while.

However, a doctor told me after the CT scan that I had a tumor of about 2 to 3 cm. Answering my question, he told me that I had a so-called cancer in the left lung, and instructed me to get the re-examination as soon as possible.

Since my two elder sisters died of lung cancers at around 60 years old, I was careful of it. However, I could not do anything about it. Everything went blank. Telling myself that it could be an erroneous diagnosis, I took re-examinations by MRI, CT, etc. at a nearby city hospital.

The doctors found that I had a gland cancer of about 2 to 3 cm in the left lung, and it was in the early second step of the five stages. They recommended getting treatment soon. They said, "You are lucky since it was detected early," despite the name of the disease.

That was at the end of February 2000. I made up my mind to work till I receive the retirement notice at the end of March so that I would not give troubles to the company. However, I was mentally resigned to the idea that the cancer is the death.

I discussed this with my wife. One of her friends told her that the products of Dr. Suzuki's company including "Valentine Pack, Agaricus Tea, Spectrum and M10-8 (SS)," etc. have an amazing effects to increase immunity against cancer, and many people were cured of the disease. Like a drowning man who would catch at a straw, I began to order and take the products of your company one after another.

The tumor marker, one of the readings of the blood tests, went down from 6.0 to 5.1 only in 20 days, a few days before the operation, since I began to take your products. I was surprised at that, and at the same time, I got the bright confidence that I can cure the disease.

I received the retirement notice at the end of March and went through the operation to take off a part of the left lung in the following week. Possibly because I did not smoke, I made a satisfactory progress after the operation, and was discharged from the hospital in eight days. While recuperating at home, I continued to take your products without easing off.

One year and half have passed since then. Even now I take regular check-ups every three months. Thanks to the products of your company, the cancer has not transferred to other part of the body, and the marker went down to 1.1. I drink Agaricus instead of tea, and having been freed from the mental and bodily uncertainty at that time, I now work on the second job.

The lucky discovery at the clinical survey, the doctors' instructions and operation after the early recovery, taking of various products of Dr. Suzuki's company through advices of my wife and her friend, the encounters with people and my feeling of appreciation. These things taught me about the cancer, my mental attitude and how to deal with it. I will try to live my additional life with my family to the best of my ability.
