No.91 : Ovarian Cancer "Battle after Operation (Jul 2010)

I had ovariectomy last year after diagnosed as ovarian cancer. I went through chemotherapy for 6 months after the operation. Since I am in my 30s, I was recommended to have another year of chemotherapy.

After the first 6 months of chemotherapy, I started feeling so sick and tired. As my white blood cell counts became low, red blood cell counts lowered as well. In order to continue with my treatments, I had to have a treatment in injections to improve my blood cell counts. It was so hard for me to deal with all the treatments, when I was already felt so sick from chemotherapy side effects.
